Builders can utilize any National Home Certification Verifier to rate their homes – opening your business up to be agile and face any obstacle.

The Veraspace^™ software is built with your best interests in mind. Utilizing the NREL OpenStudio-ERI energy modeling platform as the backbone, the software is robust and up-to-date on the modeling side. Alongside the modeling, our team has built robust and complete tools for verifiers to make the verification process move smoothly, and every National Home Certification Verifier is thoroughly trained in how to use it.

You can feel confident that every home will be treated the same way by any of our National Home Certification Verifiers. This way, every rating will be consistent, and you can be sure that all of your efforts are always being recognized.

Finding a National Home Certification Verifier is simple – if you have a current certified energy rater who works with your business, we will give them six months to finalize their certification. This means, no stop-gaps in either of your businesses. Our Certification Guarantee

NHCO^™ has a guaranteed process that, when followed, gets home builders ENERGY STAR® certification on every home they build. 

How do we guarantee ENERGY STAR® certification? When you work with NHCO^™, we want to make sure you have all of the information you need to succeed. We will work with you to evaluate your current approach and the market where you build to create an individualized process to ensure your homes are meeting all requirements for ENERGY STAR® or Zero Energy Ready Home certification. NHCO^™ Verifiers will validate your work using our more robust criteria and standardized processes. Following the NHCO^™ outlined process will ensure that you receive the tax credits that you deserve.

The Veraspace Difference

NHCO^™ does things differently. Homes are all modeled in-house with the Veraspace^™ proprietary software, putting controls and consistency around the way the energy ratings are completed.

Once the modeling is complete, builders can add their homes to lots around the country. National Home Certification Verifiers can then be assigned to lots, and they can complete pre-drywall and final inspections to ensure that all of the ENERGY STAR® or ZERH checkpoints have been completed.
